The Info Quest® is an association established in January 2009 by the IT professionals. The mission of Info Quest® is to be develop Information Technology and provide range of Information Technology services and solutions to the rural areas. It provide several Information Technology services to the community.

Our Major Objectives

	Providing assistance and guidance to IT Teachers of schools, which request assistance from the Association.
	Identifying and providing appropriate assistance to schools in rural areas in order to develop IT knowledge.
	Conducting seminars and workshops for the students who need assistance in the area of IT.
	Undertaking such other activities that are necessary to achieve the aims of the Association.

Info quest has been implementing Information technology promoting programmes with the own fund from well wishers, in 3 schools Batticaloa  Districts, since the 6 months. We had implemented programmes for improving the Information Technology knowledge and skills of students and teachers. This was because most of the students were studying   below the poverty line and poor facilities.

Our current impact assessment suggests the following positive outcomes from the program implemented in the last few months:

• Performance on computer knowledge of students in public examinations has improved.
• Performance on computer knowledge of teachers has improved.
